Why Red Pine?
“Red Pine” refers to Chisong (赤松), a name associated with the Jinhua landscape and regional Huang Daxian traditions. It gives our brand a sense of place, without turning a cultural connection into a claim of special powers.
Hong Kong’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Office traces Wong Tai Sin folk belief to the Jinhua area of Zhejiang. Wong Tai Sin is the Cantonese name commonly used for Huang Daxian. This is cultural history, not evidence that our products carry supernatural properties.

A moment to remember someone.
What we are building
A small English-language collection of joss paper, symbolic bank notes, paper crafts and wishing papers, with planned dispatch from Jinhua to eligible destinations in the United States, Canada and the European Union.
Our aim is to explain what an object represents, where customs differ, and how to approach it with care. We welcome both people who grew up with these traditions and those encountering them for the first time.
Our approach
- Context before claims. Cultural meaning belongs alongside product information.
- Respect before spectacle. Remembrance traditions are not horror props or exotic entertainment.
- Clarity before purchase. Materials, actual product photos, origin and landed-cost information will be confirmed before ordering opens.
